Journal of Biomaterials

Aims and Scope

Journal of Biomaterials (ISSN Online: 2640-2629, ISSN Print: 2640-2602) is an international journal exploring the underlying science behind the function, interactions and design of biomaterials including fibers, biopolymers, molecular design of biomaterials, internations at the biointerface, etc. Biomaterials continue to be one of the most rapidly growing areas of research in plastics today and certainly one of the biggest technical challenges, since biomaterial performance is dependent on polymer compatibility with the aggressive biological environment. Original articles across the whole scope and up-to-date original research articles are welcomed to publish in this journal.

The topics related to this journal include but are not limited to:

  • Polymer Synthesis
  • Biology of the Host Response
  • Types of Biomaterials
  • Biofilms
  • Biosensors
  • Artificial Organs
  • Biomineralization
  • Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine
  • Materials for Tissue Engineering
